Greetings

Dear HETI Congress Participants!

As President of HETI, I want to extend a warm welcome to all of you to the 18th International Congress! 

You are here, as I am, because we all believe in the power of our equines to change lives.  The next few days of meetings will provide engagement that will reinforce our beliefs, new information that will enhance our programs, and opportunities to learn from each other.

The theme “From Science to Practice” will facilitate taking the all-important scientific findings into our day-to-day programming.

The plenary sessions and guest speakers have much to offer; the round-tables will support our coming together over topics of mutual interest; our business meetings will be venues for you to not only learn about HETI and our activities but also for you to have input into our future directions; the social events will give us all the opportunity to get to know one another better. Also, let’s not forget that we are celebrating 50 years of HETI!

I want to thank the Hungarian Riding for the Disabled Federation for the enormous amount of work that went into organizing this Congress!

I want to thank you for the amount of work and expense that went into your arriving here in Budapest.  I hope you enjoy your attendance and I look forward to meeting you!
