Conference venue: Oslo Kongressenter

Oslo Congress Centre is a modern conference and event venue located in the heart of downtown Oslo, at Youngs gate 21, next to Youngstorget. The venue offers a wide range of flexible meeting rooms and large halls suitable for conferences, congresses, exhibitions, and social events. Its central location provides easy access to hotels, public transportation, restaurants, and cultural attractions. Oslo Central Station is within walking distance, and Oslo Airport can be reached in approximately 20 minutes by the Airport Express Train.

History: The venue traces its roots back to the late 19th century when the Norwegian labour movement established Folkets Hus (The People’s House) as a common meeting place in 1885. Construction began around 1900, and the original building opened in 1907 as an important social and cultural hub. After several expansions and redevelopments over the decades, the complex was extensively modernized and expanded, and by 1989 the current congress facilities were completed. Since then, the centre has continued to evolve with upgrades to its halls and meeting spaces to welcome guests from Norway and around the world.
